My girlfriend took my truck out and the only car available was my brother's which he left with me while he want to Vancouver. I get a sudden hankering for gummi bears. I went outside and there was a coat of ice and snow on the ground. What the hell, the thing has tracton control. Let's just say that by the time I drove the 3 miles to the Store 24 I had lost my appetite for candy. It was white knuckle the entire way. I needed to peg the sucker two gears higher to keep it from swapping ends.

Consider it another lesson in the Viperoni driving school, where we teach you to drive with other people's cars :Q

My brother tried to get a set of snowtires but he got his car in late December. He called checked all the local places, Tire Rack, Discount Tires, etc. and they were all sold out until April. :Q I don't think they make chains for those tires.

<< $120 Canadian per tire.......that'll be the day >>

Isn't that like $5.15 us or something? ;)

I'm considering ordering some p225/45/r16 tires for my car at about $100 us each.....but I'll have to use them in winter and that zrated thing worries me too :)

Windogg,

I was joking about the chains :)

If your bro had got at S8 with AWD you wouldn't be having these problems :p

Holy crap, $322 for each 275/35-ZR18 and $275 for each 245/40/ZR18. He'll be in for some fun when it's time for replacement rubbers.
