Whoa!! So this is what I was missing..

What can I say I am at a loss for words. I ran 3d mark 05 before and after, 2000 vs 9995.

I have a ASRock Dual Sata MB so I have both cards running on it so I can watch TV, but that isn't working right now. I did it with another video card so I am sure I can get it to work again. Although it is odd to see 4 video displays.

AOE3 looks much better, but the game play is the same. I actually loaded Oblivion, which have had for a month but didn't bother until now. Wow.

The fan does kick in every now and then. It isn't real noticable, but it would be nicer if it ramped up slower or had a middle setting.

x1950xtx doesn't really have a loud fan 🙁 try the X1900XT, X1900XTX , 5800U or 7900GT for loud stock fan

The fan definately isn't annoying.... I can't hear it over the stock AMD 3800 fan in my p150 case when it is slow. When it kicks in I just notice a slight change in volume.

I had to move my office to the sitting area off my bedroom to create a nursery for my son. Otherwise I wouldn't have wasted the extra $150 to get the x1950, and just went with a x1900.

It does throw off some heat... To bad I am in Florida instead of Alaska. I have yet to shut off the A/c since May.

No matter what you do DO NOT BUY Thermaltake watercooling parts..pure crap

if you want to WC..go MCW60, Maze4 or Aquaextreme MP-1 gpu block

I have no interest in water cooling. The only thing I would like to do is maybe overclock the CPU when I play games.

Let's be realistic... I upgraded from a AIW9600. I even have 2gb Cruical Ballistix still in the box.
