Too bad my old skin/theme doesn't work. I hate the default skin.

But it does seem to load faster. :)

Mozilla is cool. It loads pages faster than IE6 on my machine. I like the way you can right click on an advertisement and block images from that server.

I'm using the pinball theme and like it very much.

You're damn right Mozilla is fast!

It has really improved in recent versions. I'm using a CVS pull from last week that I compiled with -O5 -march=i686 flags, and it really screams along! If only flash for linux could be this fast...

If you REALLY want some serious speed, however, you should forget graphical browsers altogether and get yourself a copy of Links. It works on pretty much any OS with any sort of POSIX compatibility and a C compiler, and it is so fast you won't know what to think! I'm posting from it right now! :)

I'm waiting for 1.0 until I upgrade again. Call my lazy. :)

A lot of bugs have been cleared since 0.9.6. Even though 1.0 will land before long, you should have upgraded by now. :p

SWEET didn't even notice the block images thing. I am still over excited by the pop up add blocker :).

Mozila is the group that took the netscape opensource and made a browser and related stuff.

Edit: by the way I think that most of the source in mozilla was made from scrath. That is why it took so long to develop it.

Yes it does render pages correctly, so far for me anyway. You can also get the flash 6 (for windows) plugin from macromedia.

It is now the browser that I use for 98% of all my webserfing. I also like that I can open up a new page in a tab rather than a new browser window.

I use the hell outa the open new tab in background feature. I have about 8 tabs open on the forum right now.

The only thing I have come across that doesn't show up right is posting a message here. It doesn't word wrap so while typing it you just have one really long line.

I just discovered the tabbed browsing feature (using .99 build on NT here).. it's very, very nice. Also like the built-in anti-popup support. For some reason, I just never, ever liked IE..

How is the anti-popup enabled? . . . I still get the "You're a Weiner" flashing red ad (I was testing it on the non-subscriber forum).

And yes, it is a nice alternative to IE.

I might just have to try it if it has anti pop-up support. I cannot understand why IE does not
