Okay, my mom works at northeastern university, and we get free internet from them. Well I just checked the RIAA hit list, and according to techtv, northeastern is an ISP that has been getting subpoenas. I guess I should remove kazaa huh? This is probably a dumb question but, will I still get in trouble if I only download and not share? Hit List

Anyone try out buying CDs?

It supposedly blocks RIAA cops from coming after you.

Musta got lost in the mail. Don't worry...the sherriff's office will pay you a visit with a warrant for missing the court date!

How many threads do we need with someone whining about getting busted for using fscking KAZAA of all things, haw lame is that?
This is not complicated: Don't pirate music, etc., and you won't get caught!

Anyone know if the RIAA has started going after other p2p networks, such as direct connect or winmx?

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if they haven't yet, with p2p, they will.
