Don't know quite what to think.... I think it may turn out to be an aquired taste.

Jeep Gladiator1

Jeep Gladiator2

What I don't understand is why they didn't bring back the name Comanche. Oh well, I'd still pimp it...

I'm also a little concerned about the spare tire right behind the drivers rear view mirror... unless the spare is recessed or the mirror sticks out a little more.

This is going to be produced, from what i have heard. The spare is NOT in that location, though. Also, they revived the name gladiator from the old Jeep trucks in the 60's.

Well, I'm glad they're not going to put the spare there, that would be bad. Now all they need to do is get rid of those ugly-ass chrome rims and they'll be all set.... Boy I'm glad I didn't buy anything recently, cuz this looks like my new vehicle!!

Looks good to me... I'd love to see a toned-down-for-consumers Jeep Rescue more than anything, though. :D

Amazingly ugly and cool looking at the same time.

Yep, it's a Jeep.

just a question, but arent long wheel bases normally bad for offroading, because of high centering on stuff?
just wondering cuz jeeps are normally off roaders.

although the front over hang is VERY small, and the rear is not to bad either.

From Jeepin' .com:

Gladiator is powered by the modern and efficient 2.8-liter, 4-cylinder common-rail turbo diesel engine that provides 295 lb-ft of torque and 163 hp. It delivers ample power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a traditional part-time transfer case.
