Whoa...is this fan too good to be true?

OK I was looking to buy a fan off of SVC and noticed this one:

Now, if you've purchased several fans and actually cared about its specs, then the above mentioned should open your eyes. 12 dBa AND 38.4 CFM? Seems a bit too optimistic IMHO.


Love to hear your thoughts on this....
 
Don't waste your time....published fan specs are determined by a salesman, not by reality. Evercool fans are usually pretty good, none-the-less.
 
Evercool and Thermaltake must use test CFM versus DBA the same way.

My experience with both brands is that the "claimed" CFM versus DBA is just crazy.

If that fan is like all the EverCool's that I have seen the rating is laughable at best.

One the badge of one of my Thermaltake fans, it has the words 'EVERCOOL Made in china'

Some of these Thermaltakes are rebadged Evercools perhaps?
