Whoa! I just came to the forums with IE 2.0

What a difference a few years make in technology. I remember when IE 2.0 first came out, it did pretty much everything. I couldn'y even view the forums using it now.

the reason I had 2.0 was because I just installed NT 4.0 and that is what it comes with.

So I hear you can't do your Windows updates with IE 2.0 because you can't veiw the Microsoft page with it.

True. I remember when I had to install NT4 WS and I tried to do windows updates, IE 2 couldn't understand the html. So I had to install Netscape (no problem accessing their site w/ IE 2) and use Netspace to download IE. Pretty funny

thats why when i do an install of NT, i connect it to the network, and install 5.01 from there.

I could've sworn NT 4.0 came with IE 3.0, but I guess I was wrong.

It was an oldy, but not that goody.
