Whoa, human voice interference with a monitor?

I know some electronics can interfere with other electronics... but a human voice? I just yelled across the house, and when I did my monitor got a bit wavy.

Anybody ever heard of this? I have a generic 19" monitor that came with an old computer many years ago.

Hmm , never heard of something like that , I know that the human body can interrupt radio waves though. Maybe the vibrations from your voice rattled something loose inside ?

sound vibrations can cause that sort of distortion. if you knock on your desk, tap your monitor, you should see the same effect. yelling is just another form of producing vibrations. it isn't bending waves, it is temporarily destabilizing components.

It is much more likely the the wavyness is due to vibrations in your head rather than any actual interference with the monitor.

Vadatajs gets the solid gold cupie doll!!

LOL, it's funny how folks try to "technologically" explain this away. If you yell, your whole head vibrates (including your eyes) and can cause your vision to distort and seem wavy.
