Whoa! Hot potato!!!

So I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and I smell something burning, so I look over and see smoke coming out of one of the PC cases. So I run over there and see the glow of flames through the vent holes. So I ripped all the wires out of the back and ran outside with it so I wouldn't light my apartment on fire. It was exciting!!!

Opened it up and it looks like a cap blew. I'll throw some pictures up shortly.

It was my server with the RAID5 array. I hope the harddrives are ok!

I was wondering the same thing. It's on 24/7. I have renters insurance, and there's nothing irreplaceable at my apartment, but it still would've sucked, A LOT.
