I thought the Monaro would be redesigned before becoming the GTO. Autoweek had an article with a concept pic. I found the article, but, apparently, you need to be a member to read their archives. :frown:

Looks pretty nice. I guess GM had good designers after all....they just needed Bob Lutz to jumpstart them. :)

Looks pretty wicked. Don't think they're actually going to produce any of those though :(

It's probably just me, but that Holden looks like it has absolutely no character at all.

Those "crappy a$$ aloy" wheels are much cheaper to manufacture.

Which is probably why they're giving it a bit of a makeover before bringing it here.

Suspension and steering systems have been comprehensively revised and refined to achieve the stability, precision and predictability required of such a car.
Which is why they're not using double wishbone suspension on all four.
HP / Liter 53.26 bhp per litre

blehh... but they dont even have those rims as an OPTION (though they'd probably be 2x the price of buying an aftermarket rim)...

Those things look like they decided to make all their cars look like 350Z ripoffs because they would sell better or something(it will probably work too!)

The overall shape looks similar to the 350Z, which, itself, IMO, looks like a cross between a 911 and a Focus. Even since the Model T cars of similar generations have looked alike. Not much you can do about, and it certainly doesn't bother me, as long as there are enough distinguishing features to separate the design from others in its class.

Crappy alloy 15s, something wrong with alloys?

yes, when you compare it to this:p:D
I've seen similar rims on many VW and Audi's. They look very cool.
