On the other hand, building access could suddenly become a lot cooler. Touch the pad, and not only could they fingerprint ID you, but they could check the MD5 hash of your PDA. Or something. I'm just babbling again.

Edit - 0roo, we already have data communication through b00bies. It's IR-based though, so it only works on line-of-sight.
