Whoa AT's traffic shot up since November

You should be very happy. you are up by a respectable amount since last year and by a lot over the lasy 2yrs. you slumped since December, but a lot of that was Christmas shopping so the drop off is to be expected.

You have nothing to be 🙁 about. I would be proud.

I was only sad about BCC not being in the top 100,000. But that's fine with me considering that domain only cost me $25. Now I'm in the mood to buy and develop some other domains 🙂

Virtual money tree FTW!

interesting, i'd never gone thru alexa's web rankings before. most are about where you'd expect them to be.

i was, however, quite surprised that yahoo was #1 ahead of google. interesting.

Yahoo has a huge network, i.e. shopping and finance.

Alexa can be rather misleading as it gathers data through people that use the toolbar. Two types of people generally use the toolbar, those who are newer to computers (who probably have 2-4 installed) or people wanting to bump up their own rankings.

personally, i use yahoo a lot more than i use google. i only use google for specific type of searches.

generally i go to yahoo first. i like their layout better. i also like yahoo's other commercial stuff that google doesn't seem to have.

why i was surprised is, everyone seems to think it's a forgone conclusion that it's a google vs microsoft battle, but yahoo will continue to be a big player i think.

I used to pay attention to the number of users logged in. I swear a few years ago it would hover around 1200? I could be wrong (it's rare but it happens 😉 ).
