the director is a freak.
:p

Yes, yes he is. I have enjoyed Terry Gilliam's work since he was in Monty Python's Flying Circus. If you like this move, see Brazil, Time Bandits and the Adventures of Baron Munchausen for more of his quirky visual styling and direction. He definitely has a distinctive style to his films.

i saw time bandits last week, not bad, i saw baron munchausen again after it; good flick

12 monkeys though, i did not like. i watched it at the insistence of my wife, and i could barely stand it....something about that movie makes me want to take my own life.

The scene where Brad Pitt shows Bruce Willis around the asylum is one of my favorite all-time scenes.

I didn't understand the WW1 bit. Why was he there? Was that just another mistake? How did the chick just happen to have the photo of him at that time? Coincidence?

bummer, it looks like the dvd is out of print until may. think it's worth $20 on ebay?

Good movie. One of the better shifting time / warped reality movies along with Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effect (director's cut) and Memento.

This movie, along with "Legends of the Fall" and "A River Runs Through It" really opened my eyes to the quality actor that Brad Pitt is. I never really gave him credit before these movies, but now I really enjoy his movies.
Yeah, he's been in some awesome movies...

But remember man card rules: it's ok to be a fan of Brad Pitt's movies, but not okay to be a fan of Brad Pitt
