That depends on the athiest. If it was an atheist even more screwed in the head than Swaggart, well, hello president Swaggart.

To assume all atheists are more balanced and sane than Swaggart is to forget what a lunatic M M O'Hare was.
 
I'd pick an 'atheist' over a 'christian' anyway, depending on their political standpoint.
What president was sworn in on a lawbook cuz he was atheist or something? I don't remember, anyone know? Seems like someone else used a Book of Mormon, but I'm not so sure about that one.
 
Dumb poll charles manson is a avowed atheist but I'd have to choose swaggart here. But if marlin manson was running I'd pick him.
 
"Atheist" is a bit vague. Stalin was an atheist and there would be no way in hell I'd vote for someone like him. Then again I'm an atheist and I'd vote for someone like me.
