I had a discussion with a friend last night that makes me wonder what the rest of ATOT feels on the topic.

Edit: Before I get crucified, I am by no way inferring that a woman's only place is the home. I was referring to her skills when she happens to be around the house.
 
I rather have a wife who loved and liked me and who I loved and liked. Basically someone I could live with. The choices in your poll sound like an invitation to marital hell.

This is for dating. When all you want to do is fvck like rabits. I would neve rmarry one of these.

This is for a wife. One that will raise the kids right, etc. Yes, it's a two person job, so don't look to deeply into that statement. Remember, when your 50, looks don't matter anyomre 🙂

I've dated people in the past knowing I woud never marry them and wouldn't be upset if we broke up. Its cold, but it happens.

I'd rather marry someone who I was in love with and is in love with me anyway, not just someone to cook, clean etc.
 
None of that really matters, all that matters is if you love eachother or not. 🙂

I'm more interested in someone that I love that loves me. Someone that I would want to share the rest of my life with. Someone who would be a good wife for me and a good mother for my children. Once you find that person, I think the rest will just fall into place.
 
Given that there are only two choices, I'll take the trophy wife. Cooking and cleaning is what domestic help is for.

Sorry, but I'm a trophy to any man who gets me. He's got to know how to do the cooking and all. He'll be the one to do those things. Sorry. And I should add, maybe a man who gets such trophy is wealthy in the first place and can hire a maid. :Q

As a talk show host said long time ago, marry a woman who's beautiful. Looks are always there and you have much to talk about and adore with looks. Not everyone ages bad or adds weight. Stay young and beautiful. And yes, I do know that some men have cheated on their wives because some other woman had better domestic skills, especially cooking.

Seriously though, I think that you're creating a false dichotomy. There are very beautiful women who can also do those things.

And the best thing about being beautiful is, even if you ("you" refers to females) don't have those domestic skills, you can always learn it eventually. If you have a sweet significant other who knows to blend the two together, where he teaches you how to do most things whilst learning at the same time, it's perfect. An average looking woman who has domestic skills can't gain the beauty for the most part, except with major plastic surgery. 😀
