Soon I am gonna get the bestest x58 motherboard and I am really torn between the two aforementioned boards.
The key differences I feel are these:
P6T6 WS Revolution supports the full three 16x PCI Express lanes...
Rampage Extreme II is said to be an overclocking BEAST...
So it comes down to what you want from a board I guess... or does it? I'm feeling the P6T6 has the advantage on the whole because it is said to overclock nearly as well as the ROG board and when it comes to still having the board in two years time, I'm probably going to want to have the feature of having triple Crossfire in full x16 glory. Then again it could be argued that the REx II is more future proof because it will overclock to the extent that one won't need to upgrade for a long time and hey it still has 16x 16x 8x if I want to add in a third card for Crossfire.
Thoughts? Your choice?
