Who would win in a fight. Ninja or Bear?

Here is the situation:

A forest, Ninja has only a ninja sword and the bear is an average sized girzzly bear.

Bear. Part of what makes a ninja bad-ass is that he knows killing points on humans and is trained at using those, it's a LOT different on a bear. Plus, unlike humans which tend to cower down when critically wounded, bears and other animals will go all out, so it might be a tie.

Ninja sword would pwn the bear. If the bear charges it might get ugly, but good katanas are extremely sharp and could easily cleave off a bears head.

Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time.

ninja w/o sword vs bear is tougher to decide. unless of course the battle was at night. then the ninja is literally invisible.

u kidding me? grizzly bear is extremely agile and fast. it will not die in a single slash and with all the weight charging towards you, you're dead whether the bear survives the hit or not.

This is much better than polar bear versus gorrila with combat knife. I think the ninja, but he'd have to be really quick because one hit from the grizzly bear would likely finish him.

With one swat of its gargantuan claw the grizzly would behead the Ninja or seriously mame him. I wouldn't even want to face a charging grizzly with a machine gun let alone a measly sword. Then again I am not a Ninja.

I also would like to point out that ninja's sword to a bear is like a small swiss arm knife to a human being.

If someone stabs you with a swiss army knife in the stomach or limbs. It's not gonna kill you for many minutes. And the bear only needs like 10 seconds in the already-engaged melee combat to totally annihilate ninja after the stab.

Let's visualize what would really happen:
1. The 800 lb bear charges toward the ninja
2. The ninja skillfully slashes the bear, severly injuring the bear.
3. The bear does NOT INSTANTLY stop, let alone death.
4. The ninja is now at full melee distance with the bear.
5. The bear may bleed like crazy but only thing the bear needs is a single 800lb blow to ninja's body
5. The ninja is dead, dead, dead.

Well maybe I worded it wrong. A ninja is more "agile".

Ninja, easy. Ninjas are trained to fight, not just stab killing points. Heck, an average Joe could almost easily beat the bear if he does not freak out.
