Hi

I'm graduating college in a week. Not the best of times since we're in a recession.
Now I'm facing the challenging task of finding a job. I thought I ask my fellow Anandtechers for some assistance.

So, a little about myself.

Age:
24

Education:
University of Washington, Seattle WA. BS (and no, this doesn't stand for Bull Sh*tter) Department of Technical Communication, School of Engineering

Professional Experience:
Boeing Commercial Aircraft/Internship (Aircraft Safety, Human Factors); General Motors Corporation, Beijing China/Internship (Technology and Engineering); Sprint PCS/Sales
Merchandising Supervisor; Microsoft, Xbox/Graduate Class Project (Conducted usability test analyzing various split-screen formats)

Interests:
I have focus my studies on: Usability Testing, User Interface Design, Human Factors & Ergonomics, International Localization (Asia/China), and research and development in these fields.

Current Projects:
Paper analyzing the influence of culture on aviation safety. (independent)
Paper analyzing variances in reading level of maintenance documentation between airlines and aircraft manufacturers. (to be presented at the 2002 annual Aviation Communication Conference)

Skills:
Public speaking and presentations, project management
C/C++, RoboHELP, Adobe photoshop; publisher; illustrator,

I currently reside in Seattle but I have no attachments here and can move anywhere. I'm confident in my abilities and believe that my experiences and resourcefulness are beyond that of most undergraduates.

Wow, thanks for reading all this. :D

I don't think you're going to have any luck here. Who wants to hire someone so incompetent that they post in the wrong forum? Try the unemployment line.

I have some dog crap in my back yard that I need cleaned up.
I'll pay you 1 - Belkin NIC Card (from Dell) per hour worked!!

You'll have to give me a few days to make sure I'm getting the NIC cards first.
But, if they come thru, then you're in!! :D

BTW - You'll need gloves!!

Did Anand give the MODS the week off? I noticed in another post that the filter is not working for posting things like Ebay, and all those most colorful words....what's up?

You can say:

Sh*t
Fu*k
B*tch

And others that the filter normally catches......try it.....filter works for fatwalet

Not to diss, but why are you considered an engineering graduate?

Seems more arts/business related than engineering related...even the ergonomics aspect of it. Good luck finding a job in the current market where even real aerospace engineers are having a difficult time finding employment.

the truth of it is that most human factor specialists come into the field with an experiemental psychology background or an industrial engineering background.
