So I've been dutifully slogging through season 2 and all of it's dreadful, cringe-worthy subplots, hoping the show re-focuses and finds some sort of consistent, entertaining tone to finish out and make me want to check out S3.

After they finally get everyone who's left down to Panama I figured maybe I'd been through the worst of the filler and things would put pick up.

But how, after being arrested by the Mexican police for murder, does the character with the money still have the money? WTF

No. It's nowhere near 24's level.

I liked seasons 1-2 but the show started losing me during season 3 and that may have been where I gave up on it... that or season 4.

I don't know, 24 became very cartoonish, repetitive... caught the bad guy, but there's one above him! Caught him but there's one above him! Caught him but...
