Who works at Frito-Lay?

Anybody got any contacts at Frito-Lay? I applied OL for a position, but I'm just another grunt in the queue. Sure be nice to learn some more information like when they expect to fill the position and spend a little time telling them about myself in person or over the phone. I put on a suit and drove over to a Frito-Lay address, but it was just a wharehouse with one overworked truck driver who was going home.

They've also got a toll free number for employment, but it's just an automated system.

We do work at the local Frito plant and offices. They do no hiring on-site. It is all contracted out to a personnel firm.

ROFLMAO! Yeah, I think he's serious. He called every Frito-Lay office in the country to let them know I'd be by. Can't wait for tomorrow, woo-hoo! They probably already pulled my resume which says TGregg instead of my real name. And I posted my mailing address as The Off Topic Forums at Anandtech.com. I'm sure he uses his name of bctbct at work every day, so even if somebody forgets he called, when I say his name they'll be all like "Oh yeah, I remember bctbct! Any nameless random person he meets on an anonymous internet board is worth hiring! Sign here."

For a second, I thought you wrote something else.

One of my son's classmate's parents works at Frito Lay but I don't know him well enough to ask.

I called their HR company down in Florida. For front line jobs (like route sales and wharehouse packers), they outsource recruiting. For management, they handle the recruitment in house.

I gotta be a manager just based on how much love for them there is here. :D
