I've stopped caring. Everyone has been up the Patriot's ass for so long that this season was entirely un-entertaining and annoying. That's the reason I really, really, hope the Pats lose.
I think the chargers have the best bet to beat them followed closely by the colts.
Cowboys looked good in the season but their defense I dont believe is really ready for anything the pats will throw their way. Big Roy is too much of a liability.
note: I do not follow, watch, or even enjoy pro football, and thus.. my opinion really is worthless.
however, when I was growing up, I always rooted for the Cowboys, even though, beyond them winning or losing, the only thing I would know is that Aikman, Smith, and Sanders were among the gods (They won the superbowl when I was 5, 6, and 8 for their super bowl wins in the 90s. ).
Well, at the beginning of the year I predicted Chargers vs Cowboys, with the Cowboys winning it all. Now, I'm not so sure. It will either be the Cowboys or the Colts. One thing I am sure of is the Pats won't make it to the Superbowl.
So far the poll reflects my opinion although I do feel the Colts are a lot more likely to beat the Pats then indicated & I would only consider NE losing to them in the AFC championshp game to be a minor upset.
I agree with Captante. The Colts winning over NE would hardly be an upset. The media and fans give a much different impression of sports teams, which I think is misleading. The coaches and players, on the other hand, aren't watching ESPN for an in depth analysis of the "unstoppable _______." They are studying film and working their butts off to prepare for the game. The only hype is from the non-players. Despite that, I believe the Colts will win the AFCC and repeat as SB victors.
