What a stupid poll. Out of 16 teams, you list 2? and one of them isn't even the number 1 seed?

Pretty lame

well i figured, and so far it seems like im right...that this is hte only way to keep the poll close...if i had listed them all it would have been lopsided

I see what you're trying to do, but I really don't think it would be lopsided. The teams with the most votes would be Lakers, Kings, Spurs, and Mavs.

And the Spurs have a better chance than the Kings or the mavs? Let's see, Spurs will play the Suns in the first round, whom they have lost to 3 out of their 4 meetings. Spurs mayb have trouble even getting past the first round

Spurs will embarrass the Suns. Don't kid yourself.

It's definitely down to the Spurs or Lakers, question is which one. Assuming the rest of the Lakers (including the bench) play their game in the playoffs (not great, but at least their B game) then no team really has a chance. Look at how the Lakers cruised to victory against the Kings last week as an example; six Lakers scored between 14 and 21 points, and Kobe and Shaq each had those 14 points! Horry, George, Fisher, and Fox had between 16 and 21 points each.

Spurs could definitely win it all, but they'll only do so if the Lakers (excluding Shaq and Kobe) play their F game. That won't happen to Horry (playoffs have a way of bringing out his A game), but I have my doubts about Fox, George (though he's gaining my confidence) and Fisher. Take the 2002 Kings-Lakers Western Conference Playoffs as an example; Fox, Fisher and George played pretty terribly during crucial stretches and generally just didn't do much. Here's the 2002 Western Conference Playoffs stats if you're interested (EDIT for stats).

Kings have a great squad, but can't mentally hold it together. Take the 3rd Lakers-Kings meeting of this season (a couple months before last week's Kings-Lakers game) as an example; Kings whined, complained and just plain looked like schoolyard punks, which is why Phil Jackson was so adamant when he said that "I have no fear of this team [Kings]".
