Simply vote, and comment on why if you wish, on who you think will win........which is not necessarily who you want to win.

I think we will see substancial increase in the number of voters. Kerry wins...but it won't be an upset! ;)

It's going to be a very close race. Both sides are terrible and, once again, it will come down to who you hate most and you vote for the other guy. Who is going to win? Who cares at this point. Waste of bandwidth if you ask me.

I think it depends on what happens in Iraq between now and then. If the militias keep disarming as promised in the last couple days, the major Kerry plank has been yanked out from under him, and Iraq is once again a civilized place. I don't think domestic issues will really matter much. Iraq will make or break it.

Its Kerry's to lose at this point. Iraq won't suddenly get better in a couple weeks (reversing a trend of ~18 mos ;) ) nad Kerry should do well/ok in last debate. Barring any gaffs or incredibly stupid remarks I think he'll squeak through. But really, God only knows what will happen.

Wrong. It doesn't matter if world peace is declared. It will be a close race and it's a toss up.

I gotta' disagree, as much as it pains me. :) I think it is still Bush's to lose and I don't see him losing it yet. He's the incumbent and a war president to boot. That's double trouble for a challenger. Furthermore, the electorate is totally whacked since 911. I don't think they have their collective heads screwed on in the forward position. Too much uncertainty and fear lies across the breast of the nation like a heavy winter snow. They would have to have some very good reasons to change horses mid stream.

Bush is going to win and we are going to see what truly horrid government is really like. His second term will be an abomination with a Republican Congress. The Dems will be able to run Jeffrey Dahmler and win after another Bush term. :)

I still give the Dub the edge because he is the encumbent. It's a case of the Devil you know being better than the Devil you don't. Of course I could be wrong, I usually am when it comes to Prersidential elections.

I've decided that voting is almost like deciding who you'd like to shake hands with before you're executed. No real candidate will tell what the believe because it will scare of potential voters. I envy countries with more than two political parties.

It may depend on who has the best October surprise. I don't see the Bush Admin going out without committing some heinous and massive fraud to stay in power. The means always justify the ends when you're doing the work of God.

Exactly, I don't see the Republicans going down without putting up a serious and heinous fight. The words "from my cold dead hands" come to mind for some reason.

Another problem is that the US system concentrates too much power in the hands of one human individual, the Executive. Now Congress has given that individual carte blanche warpowers to boot.

Yes! And that numbskull Kerry was one of them to give Bush this carte blanche authority to go running off half cocked. And he sounds like a complete moron complaining TOO LATE. Sheezh, but I'm going to vote for him because he isn't as bad as Bush, and that isn't saying much.

I think Bush will win because I believe he'll carry Ohio and Florida. It'll be close.

I'm going to go out on a limb with a possible scenario though. Kerry wins while losing the popular vote.
