I think you misunderstood something. Vance meant it as a compliment...Vance once referred to Trump as "America's Hitler". Oooof. How big of a suck up do you have to be to do that 180 degree turn???

I think you're wrong there. There's going to be a significantly better Democratic turnout than typical. It's not just about independents, it's about getting the insane amount of tuned out Dem leaning voters who are simply going to not turn out for Biden.
He should know better because he is a lawyer, so's his wife. But like Tina Turner sang, "there's nothing worse than an educated fool."I care that he's transmitting this incredibly dangerous message that the unitary executive is how the US govt is supposed to function. Of course with the current SC, I'm sure they'll allow it, so who cares.

Who's the better sell on Midwest rust belt indies?
Vance or Kamala?
Is Kamala going to bring these indies back into the fold?

They are voting for 2019 prices again not the actual Trump policy, which if actually implemented will march us straight into a major recession or even a depression. If there is no reasoning with these people then I reserve the right not to feel bad if/when the find out part comes to pass.
I agree but it's also maddening that Trump could simply do nothing, allow inflation to continue to slowly cool off (will never get back to 2019 prices tho) and simply take credit for it.
That would be an economic disaster, you know this right?(will never get back to 2019 prices tho)
I wasn't advocating for this, only something that his supporters think will happen. That would be an economic disaster, you know this right?
I bet they don't want their 2019 wages and 2019 401k balances to go along with those 2019 prices.I wasn't advocating for this, only something that his supporters think will happen.

It would be too damn late to do much about it other than vote blue in the 2026 midterms. They view their increased wages and wealth from the market as things they did not things that resulted from policy choices by the Democrats. Increased prices were done to them by Biden in their opinion so voting for Trump might undo that.
Assuming Trump follows through on many or most of his stated economic plans people are going to totally lose their shit when the consequences arrive.

If Trump did everything on his economic docket (huge tariffs, trade wars, dollar devaluation, interest rates slashed to nothing, and deports 12M people) the possible economic consequences are nearly beyond imagination for anybody who didn't live through the Great Depression. Politically I'm not sure there would not be a legit revolution.
Maybe something like this needs to happen to shake people out of their hypnosis.
Don’t underestimate the ability of an incoming dictatorship to control the media and blame the same old people groups
