As a Raiders fan and future UCLA alum, I would want nothing more than for the Titans to get Leinart so that the Raiders can end up with Vince..whose arm and speed will be very fitting with the core of receivers they have as well as being under Art Shell.

The ESPN guys seem to be really split as to who the Titans will get between Young and Leinart, and it's a big deal between the management and front office as to who they'll get as well..but the current betting lines on who'll be the first QB drafted are currently something like this:

Cutler - 20:1
Young - 7:1
Leinart - 5:11

And who can argue with the odds makers?

LOL....at 3? Young will be lucky to go in the top 10.

you want to make a wager on that? i think young is going to go top 10

i think cutler is overrated...anyone who takes cutler over leinart or young is stupid

as stated before, i think titans will go leinart because of norm chow

It depends who the Saints pick. He'll go 3 if they draft Leinert--which seems very unlikely-- only because they are desperate for a young QB. Otherwise, I can't see any team in the top 10 in need of another QB until the Ravens. Anybody would be stupid to pick him over Michael Huff or Winston Justice, for example. That said, there's no limit of stupidity within the NFL GM's so hell if I'm gonna bet on people not being stupid. :)

In any case, I agree with Merril Hoge's assessment. Young will be a bust. He won't be dancing by linebackers at the pro level....he has bad mechanics.....and he played in a system at Texas that was "one look"....that means Mr Big Stud QB Vince Young only had to worry about watching for one whole receiver and if he wasn't open he ran. Combine that with the horrible Wonderlic and there is ZERO chance he will be anything in the NFL.

Seriously, WTF does the Wonderlic have to do with him being an NFL bust?

Oh, and you're listening to the same Merrill Hoge who said last year that Mike Williams should be a 6th round pick, and Kellen Clemmens is better than Young and Leinart. That tool is from another planet.

The lower your intelligence, the harder it is for you to make multiple reads. At least, that is what is being said about a low score.

Look, successfully throwing a pass in the NFL is a complicated equation. Do you agree that you can't predetermine who you're going to throw to? Then obviously you need to be capable of split second decisions about defensive formations and coverages and player tendencies and a dozen or more other factors. Of itself, the test proves not a damn thing. But for a QB who has not demonstrated that kind of throwing instinct, it gives any rational thinking person cause to wonder if he's capable of acquiring it.

Oh and, Mike Who?
