I'm using Dell laptop both at home and work. I have Xircom NIC installed with TCP/IP binded to it. IP address set to obtain automatically, DNS disabled and for WINS it is using DHCP Server. At work everything works fine, but when I get home and hook it to my home network (DSL router connected to the switch, and all computers are connected to that switch), all computers work and configuration is identical on all of them, but not laptop. I think I've tried anything I could think about, but still no luck at all. Any ideas ?

"all computers work and configuration is identical on all of them, but not laptop."

I'm confused about that... are you saying the configuration on your laptop isn't the same as those computer at home?

BTW, you have a DHCP server? Are all the other computers are configured for it?

I asking this, because I'm not quite sure I understand your post..

There's a program called Net Switcher that enables boot with different network settings - I forget the link, but do a search and you'll likely find it.

I meant all computers have identical configuration, including laptop. All of them work okay, except laptop.

I tried disabling WINS and not using DHCP server, but it didn't seem to make any difference. What makes me really suspicious, all computers are configured identically, and all of them work except that laptop. I started thinking it is a bad network card, but at the same time it works when i'm in my office at work. I'm really running out of ideas here.
