Who watches the X-Files?

I have never watched the show, but there appears to be a lot of people that follow it. Who likes it and what's your opinion on it?

The first few years were good, around sixth year it became uninteresting & boring. I have absolutely no interest towards the new episodes.

Watched the first 2 seasons religiously, then I completely lost interest and haven't watched it since.

It's lost a hugh chuck of it's following since Mulder called it quits, but I still watch it.

I used to really enjoy it, now that mulder is gone, it is very lame. First 4 or 5 seasons were the best though.

i lost interest in it. They probably should have hung it up in like 1998.

At first it was good then became boring, now I would say it's already "dead"...

They lost me this year, at least so far. I watched religiously from the beginning, and if they'd have left the Doggett/Scully pairing alone, I'd still be watching it without Mulder. But they put Reyes in, and I don't like her.

I'll probably catch at least one episode in reruns, but I'm not going out of my way to see it this year. If they ever do finally get the movie on track, I'll probably go see it, but that's about it for me. Chris Carter yanked his audience around for way too long, drawing out questions that should have been answered sooner and teasing us by giving us one answer and then the next season, changing his mind and making it not be true anymore. I got tired of never being able to actually believe what was happening to the characters.

The X-files was great in its first seasons but now it's pretty lame.

First five seasons leading up to the movie rule. Unfortunately the movie did not conclude a lot :| I really did like the movie though. After that it went down the can...i did watch part of Mulder's last season though. Was cool to finally see Mulder and Scully kiss.

I also lost interest after the movie came out, it just got really dumb and after Mulder left I totally stopped watching it.
