As in which type of people. Im willing to bet that 65-75 percent of ppl that watch the simpsons are geeks . We should all email Groening and ask him to do another IT related episode. After all, he did say he was running out of ideas. Not like 1 idea would solve his problems or anything, but it couldnt hurt .

Same here. Heck, I even managed to get my Mom hooked on them back in high school, and she is about as far from a geek as you can get.

I must agree with the rest and say that the Simpson viewing population is not necessarily geeky. I think the Simpsons is often times an intelligent kind of humor that may appeal more to the geeks among us, but that may just be a coincidence in personalities..

If anything, I think that the Simpson's is anti-geek. Just look at comic book guy or Professor Frink. That said, nearly everyone I know watches the Simpsons, and if they don't, everyone else tells them that they should. By the way, does comic book guy have an actual name?
