as a follow up to THIS, who watched it, and who enjoyed it?!

its quite a funny show in my opinion, but it definitely feels too scripted. like things like "whats walmart, do they sell like, walls?" seem WAY to fake, its like forced just to generate the public's interest. just like if you watch newlyweds or at least have heard about the whole "chicken of the sea" incident!

 
The "Paris Hilton" phenominon has been scripted by FOX. To the "release" of the sex tape weeks before the show to the actually show itself.

hahaha, i know the feeling!
its cool, there are more people out there who feel that the whole paris hilton sex tape was a publicity stunt. to be completely honest i had no clue who she was until that tape came out... and that made me watch the show (i'm a guy... )
 
I only caught 20 minutes or so of the episode where they were filling the milks bottle.
That alone warrants their societal exile.
 
I don't think it is scripted but I do believe that the girls are over acting. I think they are dumb and like to have fun but they are REALLY going over the top b/c they know the cameras are on them.

Thoughts:
1. They are THE most spoiled, clueless girls I have ever seen....but they have a lot of fun.
2. They act like junior high girls and constantly screw around and have very little respect for other people.
3. Nicole Richie loves to make out with ALL the guys and is one horny chick....Paris tends to dance suggestively and talk that way but didn't really act on it with any of the guys
4. When the lady at Sonic Burger told them to fill out the tax form they didn't seem to grasp the concept of taxes or deductions...they had no clue that tax deduction forms even existed.
5. Paris told people she enjoyed taking the orders and bringing people food (it probably made her feel useful for once and everyone wants to feel useful and needed).
6. The show is VERY funny if you don't start out with preconceived notions that you hate Paris Hilton.
7. 1/2 price salty anal wiener burgers......and when the manger saw the sign she said..."You can't put wiener on the sign" (she didn't even mention the fact that anal was on the sign)
 
Watched it for the first time last night (the SonicBurger episode)... Pretty funny show...

But I do agree, the girls are acting somewhat becuz they know the cameras are on them...
 
I watched it from the start of the show.

My sis told me today that they mentioned plans to tape a second season of the show. I was like, no way! It isn't going to sell. They may be trying to imitate Newlyweds with Jessica Simpson acting as the dumb blonde, but it isn't going to work. In contrast to Jessica, the two girls, Paris and Nicole, don't seem dumb. They act dumb, but it's a terrible acting. It isn't well scripted. There's a limit to how much you can pretend to be dumb and expect people to laugh. You have to come up with something more interesting, or you should go take some acting lessons to improve on your acting skills. Many things they did weren't funny, even though they clearly thought they were.

I have laughed sometimes, but I'm only watching at the moment out of curiosity. Also, the simple life family are interesting people. I'm curious to see how they cope with the arrival to rich brats. I'll probably stop watching the show after four episodes, though. It's just not one of the shows that keep me tuned; rather, it's one of those I just watch the first few episodes and then the finale.
 
i watched part of it and paris hilton loves to look at herself as evidenced by the way she loved to look at herself in the mirror as she danced

you could almost see her sayign to herlsef oh yeah you look good ..mm im so sexy

and if you look at the now famous sex tape she does the same thing...shes constantly checkign herself out on what i assumed is the lcd on the cam era or a tv they hooked up to the camera.

That nichole ritchie shes a horny lil freak though!
 
I watched about 5 minutes of it and changed it immediately. It's another one of those so called "reality tv" shows. Who in the hell wants to see a couple of whiny, spoiled, skanky little biatches run around. I don't understand why people watch "reality tv" shows. They are fvcking dumb!
