As I stated above, this show is marginal at best.
The main reason is, everything is so predictable, and far-fetched.
The writing has been bad so far.
They should have went with Bluebird or Aurora or another Marvel comic character that has more than a 1 dimensional character trait, and has some kind of power, for an actual superhero type of show.
This is kinda like watching a series built around Batman's butler, Alfred.
Most of the above is just flat out wrong. First, if you were paying attention, you may have picked up the several Easter eggs and plot seeds that were dropped in each episode. More, if you've been following AoS S2. Not sure where you believe it to be predictable . . .I'll wager money that your prediction will be way off.
Per Disney, this is MCU on TV. Think of it as an 8 hour Marvel movie that airs on TV. Producers say there'll be a season 2 as well.
1D character? You weren't watching the episodes then.
Lastly, not sure why people keep trying to bring this up:
It. Is. Not. A. Superhero. Show. Not sure how much clearer that point can be made. Any 'powers' you see in the show are going to be from technology, such as the Crimson Dynamo. Vanko was in episode 2, for example.
