I'd say that there are plenty of candidates for this one since the early nineties.

Has to be Sam Bowie. Not only did he suck but the greatest player in the history of the game was drafted right after him.

The myth of the big man caused that blunder, among other things of course. Strangly enough the Bulls proved you could win championships without a star center.

Can you comprehend how good a team they would have been with Drexler AND Jordan? If a world-class center like Sabonis could have played when they drafted him in '86, that team would have been completely unstoppable for YEARS.

I wasn't following when Bowie was drafted so I don't know of the hype that surrounded him.

From the past 10 years or so, it has to be Darko.

that's unfair, he was benched by brown. This year is his first real rookie year.

i wouldn't say glenn robinson has been terrible... he had a few good years with vin baker in milwaukee. of course that sentence sounds plain ridiculous now.
