should fiat just put out an ad saying 'if you bought one of our vehicles in the past few years, bring it in to the dealer. maybe they'll fix something. maybe they'll be forced to make you an offer. i'll be a surprise!'

Yikes. Hit a nasty pothole and get a faceful of airbag. Lose control of the car, slam into something and then really get f'd up because the airbag has already deployed and doesn't do anything for you.

Not cool.

not cool at all! scary scenario!

Guy I used to work with has a ~2013 Camaro. Had it at a racetrack and all the airbags blew while on track. Didn't even hit anything or go off track to cause them to blow. I know the car got sent back to GM to determine why they blew. I never heard what happened after that.

Fix it again, Tony.

Chrysler along with VW are the two car brands I wouldn't touch with a 10ft pole.
