wtf? i don't understand what you are saying... i think the diagram needs arrows...

we were both traveling north, towards the front of the store, based on that diagram. When I had initially parked, there were two open, end-to-end spots. So I pulled through one and into the other. That's why my car was facing the other way. I hadn't backed into my spot as he was attempting to do. I simply pulled forward out of my spot (turning car left towards front of store) after he passed by my spot. So I was the behind him as he approached the end of the aisle.

FWIW, this was a kid who could barely speak English, driving a riced out import. Car was probably worth $1000 with about $5K in tacky mods (2' high spoiler and all). As soon as I got out of my car his stereo was still blasting. He never saw him until after he backed into me. Put two small scratches on his rear bumper. Pushed up the bumper material on my front left bumper to form two little mounds. Also broke the turn signal bulb socket that screws into the light housing. I didn't realize that until after I had gotten home. $20 fix and my car is pretty old so I'm not sweating it but I was just irritated that the moron thought it was my fault.
