the mods seem like sheriffs of the wild wild west who act and never answer you (thread locks etc). i think there should be a feature where if there is a strange ban or lock you are allowed to post one final thread and if a certain # of anandtech members agrees with you then the mod loses their mod status. the number can be very high like 10,000 members or so (some kind of voting system) so as to balance out the regular members of this board with the mod's. so one doesn't have more power than the other.

we should all think carefully before posting but i believe the mods should do the same as well when it comes to bans or locks and not do it on a whim

Oh...and maybe next time I run into Anand I'll ask him about it. But he usually has better things to discuss than some n00b on the forums of his website.
 
I love the mods here. They have good sense of humor with mucho grace. I think you deserve a nice vacation, though I think internet isn't a good place for you.

someone at my college told me i should transfer (one of the administrative people) and tried to intimidate me by showing me my gpa as lower than it was and while i was in there talking to him i had my gpa record pulled up which showed it alot higher than what he said. i think sometimes people dont' like it when u draw attention to their problems. they'd rather everything appear all neat and tidy

This is relevant how? They probably want you to transfer because they don't want someone so stupid going to their school and tarnishing it's name. Little did we know that Podunk University was worried about that.
