Who wants to start an ATOT band?

So here's an idea which may have been hatched before. If so, ignore this. If not, read on:

How's about we form an ATOT band? There are plenty of threads around advertising/showcasing various members' musical talents on guitar, piano, bass etc, and I know at least a few members here are good with protools. We have all the makings of a band right here, and it might be fun to do.

At first we can try starting off with some simple covers that we individually record and mix and if it goes well, we can see where it goes from there. Between all of us we should be able to put together quite an impressive array of equipment and talent, and some of us already do this for fun anyways, so why not combine our efforts?

ooooooh, me for vocal harmonies! A lot of tenors are too high for me, since I sing more in a second tenor or baritone range :(

(But my falsetto conquers all!)

Flashback to last year's thread!
I'm one of the many who volunteered but utterly failed to follow through :( (Sorry Platypus, but you don't need us anyway! ;))

I'll play the spoons.

I dunno if you're serious, but I actually know a guy who plays them :)

The trumpet player in my band riveted a couple together and breaks them out on occasion.

Haha ditto... I volunteered bass guitar, laid down maybe one track, but then just got way too busy to keep up with it. Some covers would be cool.

The lack of ATOT contributing drummers really makes it hard to get going. Sampled, sequenced drums work OK, but "Live" recorded drum tracks makes the jam actually interesting enough to keep the ball rolling.

I thought my sloppy guitar work would bring some actually talented players in to "show how it's done".........nuthin' :(

(Drew spit out some sweet sauce though ;)
