I thought I'd share a couple pics of my new Dell 2005FPW for anyone who's still on the fence about getting this monitor.

I was real apprehensive about buying it because of the kind of odd-ball resolution. Now that I actually have it I'm very very pleased. What a difference compared to my old 17" Samsung 172x!

I just couldn't pass up $437 for this monitor.

The screen is perfect with no dead/stuck pixels and no back-light problems.

I love my 2005, too. My desk is a lot more cluttered than yours, though.

Wow, nice and clean setup. How much is your desk? What brand? BTW, I already own 2 x 2005 as well. Love them!

That desk is WAYYYYYYYYYY too clean... ;) You need some paperwork and books to clutter it up a bit!

Yeah I was amazed by your desk, not the monitor. :) I'm still stuck with my "old" 172x-like monitor also. Let me know how the 2005 is for gaming (ghosting or motion blur).

Thank for the complements on my desk guys! I'm kind of a clean freak. I can't stand clutter (it drives me nuts). Anyway, I got the desk at Dania Furniture. I've had it for about three years and I think I paid between $300 and $400.

I just tried Doom 3 and didn't seen any motion blur.

I thought Doom 3 supported native widescreen resolutions? I went into the display settings and there isn't any widescreen resolutions listed. Anyone know how I can get these to work?

Thanks,
