The newspaper this morning said it might actually be too frightening for your little ones and now I'm really intrigued. Who wants to go?

It is apparently frightening enough for my 4-year old son. He's just seen the previews and he doesn't want to see it because it looks too scary. And we even have free passes to see it. Oh well, we'll give them to someone else.

AICN has been gushing over the movie.

My 5 and a half year old is dying to see it, but I've read its too scary for kids that young. For reference, he got scared by the big robot thing in the Zathura movie about 6 months ago, but not really THAT scared. Is the media just exaggerating the scariness, or is it really suited for kids older than 5?

I have never seen the original clerks, but there is something that makes me want to see Clerks 2, maybe that scene with him dancing and that music looks funny on the previews.

Will I be lost?

Well I doubt we're talking about a complicated plot here. But seeing the first one would help you get the humor because it's a different movie. It's genius and hilarious IMO.

Monster house is being advertised so heavily, you know it has to be bad. When a new movie is advertised on the local 80's station, I generally don't go see it (and yes, I like 80's music :p)

I took my son and my g/f to see it in 3D last night and we all loved it. At first my g/f didn't want to "wear the dorky glasses", but when she saw how fuzzy it was without them and how cool it was with them on she wore them!

They were some poindexter looking glasses too. My son said all they lacked was a piece of tape in the middle!

I recommend the movie highly.

Also saw a preview that they're re-releasing Nightmare before Christmas in 3D.
