So, for the weekend from the 13th of February to the 18th of February, I will be in San Deigo. I was supposed to go with my girlfriend to San Diego, she has work there at a pet supplies show, but recently at work shes been verbally threatend so she quit her job. Well fortunately for you, I still have a ticket to SAN DIEGO and no hotel or money! So please let me sleep on your couch. It'll be like a mini AT meetup, except it'll just be you and I!!! See me "fit" into your welcome home!

If I change the ticket to your city who will put me up for a week?

If I let you stay, can I make requests for things that you can try to fit in? Basically, will you be my entertainment for the duration of your stay?

ABSOLUTELY! I'm bundles of fun. Maybe I'll bring a camera and make a documentary out of it. I'll call it "My mini AT meet up." And 6 people can buy it. (The ones in the film)

Just kidding, I don't think the wife would be too keen on me letting a complete stranger I met over the interweb stay at our house for a week. ;)

There are tons of homeless people, you will fit right in. Just pick a spot in Seaport Village.

I have references, and a good credit score, I hear that opens doors. (pardon the pun). I've done this before with some friends from Wisconsin, but we kinda planned that.

Internet and online socializing has sure certainly come a long way.... asking an online community for a place to stay for a night, whom you've never met and vice versa.

I would never think to do that, even if they offered.

Be an adult and spend $150 on a cheap motel nearby.

I did it a few years ago with some Counterstrike friends from Wisconsin. I had a really good time
