who wants to get paid to consult on a website design?

I've designed and implemented a handful of websites, but I don't have time to work through the first few steps right now. I'm willing to pay one of you to consult and possibly do some of the initial development. The website is for an engineering firm and the only real requirements are as follows:

1) Modern look and feel
2) Thinking the words Java or Flash is punishable by death
3) I'd like to at least get a skeleton of a mobile version of the site

Any takers? I've used contractor/freelance websites in the past with a lot of success, but I thought it would be more fun to use a fellow ATer this time. If there aren't any takers, I'll go with the usual route. Send me a PM if you have any interest and want to talk about the specifics.

if you are serious about this, you will need a lot more requirements than those 3 in the op.

i could meet all of those requirements for you in about 5 minutes but i'm 100% sure you will want changes because it will have no content.

OP, what kind of hourly rate are you thinking? I don't do web design anymore, but back in 2000ish when I worked for a web shop (HCI International / Chicken Soup for the Soul books were one of our customers), it was $75 to 250 per hour and something like a base cost of $500 to $2500 (based on plain HTML to database-backends).

There was always someone that would say "my son will do this for less than $10 per hour".

We'd get them back a month or two later when their little Einstein proved to know how to build a $50 website.
