Park a Chinese flagged barge in Seattle harbor. Take shipments from Amazon onto the barge, put them in ePackets, and bring them back ashore via China Post for super discount shipping via USPS.

China Mail gets super discount shipping via USPS by treaty. It is far cheaper to send packages from China via USPS than it is to send domestic packages via USPS so “ship” the packages from the Chinese barge. Amazon gets cheap shipping and the barge operator pockets a nifty profit.

The whole idea that they get those discounts is complete BS. It's ridiculous that it's so much cheaper to buy something from China than it is to buy domesticly. To add insult to injurty they also tax domestic sales and not non domestic. It should be the opposite. Domestic stuff should not be taxed and should be cheaper, and then everything else should be taxed.

Grr... it's jerkwad trade ideas like these that are causing tariffs to go up :(
Yep. I ordered a laser pointer off ebay. It came direct from China via Priority Mail with tracking. Total cost including shipping was $5.39. Cheapest domestic flat rate Priority Mail option is $6.55 to commercial shippers or $6.70 for us peons.
