<<The Surrendered Wife offers helpful hints in letting your deeply flawed partner work his way back into some semblance of usefulness.>>

I read half the first chapter. The gist of it is, I think, that the surrendered wife stops being critical of her hubby at all and lets him run the show because when wives nag it makes them upset and its not worth it.lol! "I know you suck, but I love you anyway"

The basic principles of a surrendered wife are that she:

? Relinquishes inappropriate control of her husband

? Respects her husband's thinking

? Receives his gifts graciously and expresses gratitude for him

? Expresses what she wants without trying to control him

? Relies on him to handle household finances

? Focuses on her own self-care and fulfillment

A surrendered wife is:

? Vulnerable where she used to be a nag

? Trusting where she used to be controlling

? Respectful where she used to be demeaning

? Grateful where she used to be dissatisfied

? Has faith where she once had doubt.

sounds good to me:)

That's pathetic!

Skoorb did send it to me to read. We had quite the chuckle over it cause we all know who is in control in this relationship!;)

Hell, I've been doing that since Day One... and it finally helped the Mister turn into more of a 'surrendered husband'.... he is the one who used to be a manipulating control freak! So, it works both ways, I think.
