So one of my co-workers sends out and email with pictures from the workshops we've been doing these past couple days. I click on the link and notice that there are very few women in the pictures he posted. Being the jokester that I am, I hit reply and tells him he needs more pictures of the women. Then, I take a closer look at a couple of the pictures he sent me and notice that the women weren't that attractive. Of course, I hit reply again and tell him "never mind, I took a closer look at the women you do have on there and it's best if you don't have any more pictures of them on there after all." Well, after I hit send, I notice that the send to field had not only his email address, but the list serv for my entire department on there. My coworker, being the helpful guy that he is filled out his reply to field with not only his email, but our department's email which goes to everyone, including my boss, who's picture is the very last one on that website he sent me. I didn't even notice that she was on there till after that second email--my emails to him were meant as a joke to him; not the entire freakin' department. Great part? Tomorrow I get to go in and face my boss alone at 8 in the morning since we'll probably be the only ones at work that early.

Cliff notes:
Foot + mouth = Me.

i hope your boss wants only to prove the contrary of your second mail😉

You know, it's one of those things where I've just hit reply so many times that I don't even think about it any more because when you hit reply, you expect it to only be replied to the person who wrote the email. Had I wanted to do a reply to all, I'd hit a reply to all. Is it too much to ask that people just have their emails in the reply to field? I guess from now on I'll double check to be on the safe side. I don't think I'll be losing my job though. Hopefully, everyone will just tease me unmercifully about this incident.

That's better than this n00b girl I worked with who sent pics of a girl with genital herpes to the entire addressbook of our largest client and nearly cost us the contract.

She was out the door immediately.

Sorry, no pics, I'm not getting into any more trouble that I already am in.

Can't recall the message. The co-worker I meant the message for originally thought my comments were funny at least, meaning it's already delivered.

If it's an exchange server, you can recall it from the mailboxes that haven't received\opened it yet.

How can I do that and how do I know if it's an exchange server? I don't have anything to do with the email server except I send and receive.
