This is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Rather than paying a reputable designer to create a t-shirt for them, they can pursuade some talented but not-so-bright kid to submit a design to be printed for a *gasp* $200 prize! Oh, and a FREE t-shirt! While they may get loads of lame and bogus design ideas, there just might be that one that will sell for them, so they have no problem with paying some kid $200 for a design which will be printed on hundreds, if not thousands, of t-shirts.

And you are exactly right.. I am looking for help designing a shirt from talented people. I am not asking you to submit, but if you feel like submitting one and feel it is worth it go ahead.. 🙂

Um, ok whatever. I am designing the shirts for GIVE AWAYS at defcon & blackhat.

lets see $200 (for winner) + $500-1000 for tshirts = $700-1200 for Giveaways makes me cheap. Nice. Why dont you go crawl back under the bridge you came from.

200.00 is not cheap. thats a very generous prize to win when most things i see are just a free t-shirt or your chance at fame of being the artist of it.
