Never, ever. First of all, screw facebook intergration. Second, I always assume that it's going to post some stupid bs to my facebook wall if I do that.

Pretty much this. Not only that, but it always will want to post your real name somewhere...

of course
the sooner the national government implants our chips so we don't have to create all these new/separate accounts the better

Depends on the site. Do I care if that site is linked to my name forever? If no, then why not? It saves me time and another password to remember. For example my ESPN fantasy football league uses facebook integration so it was easier to click "connect via facebook" and not worry about another account to get spam from.

I started to do this.. make it easier than remember usernames and passwords. But I use a facebook account that has BS information in it.

No way I would do this with the account I use to keep family updated... you will get spammed out the ying yang eventually.

Not to thread hijack...but why isn't there some sort of initiative to unify log ins across sites? I guess there is OpenID...not very well implemented though. Need to get more people on board with that. I personally hate having multitudes of logins and passwords. As the years go on...it is becoming more and more unmanageable with increasing password complexity and types of services requiring sign up.

Although... correcthorsebatterystaple is a better password than Tr0ub4dor&3...

That would be kind of impossible for me since I don't have a facebook account.

and yes, that does make me better than all of you who do
😛

They are mining your data. Why make it easier for them? I use FB ONLY to communicate with friends, not to reveal my personality and subsequent buying habits to companies, for free.

If facebook doesn't do OpenID (and they don't), then it will never work.

because they are making it easier for me.

I do it for one site but it's a forum for a facebook game so doesn't matter there.

On the other hand a porn site I visit has a such link to use to log in and I would not use it for who knows what kind of posts they would do then and I would rather I keep the type of porn I search for private. 😛
