Who upgraded their computer this weekend?

Cool deal.I'm putting together my very first computer this weekend and its alot of fun.Can't wait to get it all together and running.I was looking at those 64meg Radeons today and wish i had one too.Looks like i'll have to settle for a 32meg

good luck johnny. dont worry, there usually isnt all that big of a difference between 32 and 64 megs of ram on video cards. but of course, 64 iiiis better....

i ordered a 256mb sodimm for my laptop. i dont know why, the price was real cheap, and well i had to have it. haha

Haven't upgraded in a while but I'm thinking of getting more RAM because it is ridiculously cheap. $56 Canadian for 256mb. I already have 512...but another 256 can't hurt eh?

There does seem to be a bit difference in price thats what i was looking at.$100 is about my budget.If i keep this up,Fry's is going to give me a reserved parking space

I actually upgraded my mobo/cpu over the weekend. Went to a DDR board/Socket A setup. I was a bit conservative on the cpu. I'll wait a few months until the prices go down on a 1.2ghz or 1.4ghz t-bird. Right now I'm running a Duron 600@950 on a FIC AD11.

I was going to, damn Fedex package is still in Texas. It shipped on Wednesday, but they held it up in Ft. Worth. 3 business days for express saver shipping. They?re pushing it. Oh well, I have the 4th off and will take Thursday and Friday off so I'll have plenty of time then.

New Iwill KK266 and 1G Tbird to replace C366 @ 550 on a BH-6.

To answer your question, YES!! they can get the Internet.

To correct your misguided intelligence, MAC's can do the same things on the Internet that PC's can do, infact they can do just about everything a PC's can do. You just need to know how to do every thing the &quot;MAC&quot; way.

the time that the RAM prices get slashed in half is the time im broke, april time (which was my birthday, see what i mean) i could get 256MB PC133 CAS2 for £77 now i can get it for £36!

Just replaced my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer. I loved my old one and after about 2 years of good work, it crapped out me. If I lifted it in just the right way, it lost power. I don't know why, but I have a new one and it seems like they've improved the workmanship of it. I guess this isn't really an upgrade, but oh well, you're not getting your 15 seconds back.
