diesel jeans are the worst. they are for the skinny euros who have bony ass legs.

when i tried on their jeans, i felt like i was wearing spandex. if you actually have a dick and balls, and want to have kids down the road, do not wear diesel jeans. also if you have any kind of muscle in your legs, you probably won't be able to even fit into your size jeans if they are diesel.

i like armani, i just don't personally buy stuff from there cause i don't feel like spending $100 on a shirt. but my GF will get me stuff from there occassionally.

I got ripped legs from years of Track. There are regular fit jeans at Diesel. Stay away from the ones with spandex/ultra slim.

I personally purchase Express jeans... they seem to fit me the best, and are most comfortable... me being skinny and tall, it's always tough finding good fitting clothes... I have one pair of jeans from Armani Jeans, and while they look much nicer and the denim feels nicer than my Express jeans, they are quite a bit more uncomfortable, and I will only wear when it's necessary.

express jeans suck. They have nothing on their pockets and the denim is very stretchy, being 100% cotton... There is something wrong with that...

lol

This has got to be a joke thread.

glad I could amuse you.

This is a hilarious thread. I'm almost sad to see that men have resorted to arguing about how their jeans look. The metrosexual movement has performed a disservice for men everywhere, imo. No longer can we simply be comfortable; no, we have to have $200 jeans with the proper knit, style, and esoteric off-shore brand sewed by the deft hands of Asian or European craftsman.

Anyway, I think those Nudie jeans look ridiculous. Half of the pictures on that MyNudies site show people wearing jeans that are probably a solid 2" longer than they should be. What's with the cuff. That might pass for emo 20 year olds, but what about professional people that need a nice clean pair of jeans that they can wear with a jacket and not look like they stepped out of some silly catalog?

For what it's worth, I spend ~$100 for my jeans. I buy from Banana Republic. I do so because they feel good, look clean enough to wear with a nice jacket and shoes, and they fit me well.

I cuff mine about 1=2". It's cool it gives balance and lets you show off the inside of the denim. I never support the ones cuffing 4=5"

Screw the whole designer jeans crap, buy something for $25 a pair and wear them. They're all the same material, some have more sh!t than others.

I think it goes to show you, it doesn't matter what you wear to impress, you will always been out-snobbed by someone. Wear a $20 pair of Walmart Wranglers, someone in their $40 GAP jeans will look down on you. Then someone wearing $100 Diesel or Lucky jeans will look down on the GAP guy. Then some denim snob wearing $250 A.P.C. or Nudie jeans will look down on those guys. Then some guy who's commissioned his own raw selvage jeans made on a secret loom by a Japanese monk for $2000 will pwn everyone. So wear what you like and what you can afford.

I don't think this is true. If you have real style no one who isn't a douche-bag is gonna look down on you. If you think you're the ****** because you don't spend money on your clothes even though you look extremely generic and boring. Or if you think wearing overpriced ripped jeans with pockets that were shat on will get you noticed ("OMG, he's wearing Seven's"). Or if you just read about Japanese denim in GQ so it's now cool, even though it doesn't match the rest of your wardrobe (torn A/X logo shirts and hoodies over blazers), you might get looked down on.

Some people don't care much about fashion, or what jeans they're wearing, and that's fine. However, If you think you're better than people that do, then you need to STFU.

Some people like pre-distressed clothes, and it's just a matter of taste. If you think having recognizable pockets makes you cool, then you are a douche-bag. Sorry, it's true.

Some people like APC (they're $140 BTW), Nudies (They're more expensive, but Nudies are extremely overpriced. For the money you might as well get real Japanese denim), and even higher up are the Japanese jeans (which aren't much more expensive than any other premium denim, prices are between usually $200 and $300).

Also, raw denim is much cheaper in the long term if you wear it like it's intended, every day. One pair of $300 jeans is just as expensive as 6 pairs of $50 jeans.

Also, CasioTech, without Levi's there would be no jeans, period. Their current jeans aren't the most exciting, but they do some nice repros of older jeans (check out their LVC line) and the washes they have in Japan are actually pretty nice. Nicer than a lot of "Premium" companies, in my opinion. Point is, if you have any interest in Japanese denim or selvage, then you have to respect Levi's.

I'm not sure I have to respect levi's. Raw denim is cheaper because it's unwashed/ doesn't have to go through treatments. You should wear raw denim 3-4 days/week. For me, it's the best jeans/Diesel shoes and the cheapest t-shirt. I also have a long wallet from diesel that goes in my back pocket with chain. My Denim has to have amazing pockets or else I wouldn't get them. Why? Because.. All jeans are somewhat the same... Same washes, fits, etc. What makes the jeans individual are their pockets.

And of course nicer clothing allows you to look down on others simply because you have better taste. Most ppl don't realize the difference between what looks good and what doesn't. They have the money for Diesel, but they choose some other fugly brand simply because they don't know better. I suppose clothing is art.

Lol, expensive jeans make you a rockstar? Ha! If I were to suddenly become a rockstar, I'd keep buying my Levi's 505s and 550s, and the odd pair of jeans from Express or Nautica. They're JEANS, they're supposed to be super casual; I wonder how much you spend on formal clothes :Q.

less than I spend on informal.

what are YOU smoking. $145 for a pair of name brand jeans is actually really cheap. Lucky brand jeans cost that much. I don't care where the jeans are made it isn't like china makes inferior products. As long it is made well it doesn't matter where or who made them

don't tell me about denim boy. I bet you get old navy cheapo $25 jeans. I never said that it was expensive, but when I buy Sevens, TruReligions or Diesels I expect them to be made in Europe or US atleast.

And yes, China makes an inferior product. Ever seen the quality of their auto's?

To say China makes an inferior product is a gross generalization. Comparing the quality of jeans made in China to automobiles is just moronic.

it is?!?!?!

The only people who are impressed about overpriced 'fashion jeans' are other people that wear them. The rest of the world thinks they are metro idiots and couldn't care less about them.

same could be said about video cards and e-penises

yeah, you losers spend your money on vidcards that are obsolete in 6 months. Atleast denim lasts years.

Oh snap, my jeans don't have uber i love you stitching on the back pocket...wahhhh! The cotton isn't from leprechauns at the end of a rainbow and don't have some enchanted glow. Their JEANS! You wear them, not displaying them on the wall for guests to see. Just buy a comfy pair and be done with it. Men are becoming more and more like women.

hahahahahaha

lol, but seriously, jeans have always been more about rock than fashion...

http://nudiejeans.com

I dunno man, you seem like a smart dude, but how do you justify paying 3 - 4 times the price of "regular" jeans? Pardon my ignorance on jeans, but I don't see a damn thing that is different from those jeans and the jeans from any other retailer. You could probably do a survey and walk up to someone and say, "How much do you think these jeans cost?" I know around my way, most of the people would say $40 tops. Maybe I need some education, or I'm getting old (turning 24 in 6 days).

there is a difference. Those who know the quality could tell. Its about the wash, threading, denim, style, etc.

Are you serious? C'mon, man a person would have to carry around a monocle or magnifying glass to see the threading and what not. "Let me see here Watson, this bloak here has a 30 thread count, impeccable wash...why that's a pair Nudie denims! Outstanding." Go try on some Levi's or some other "regular" denims, walk around, have your normal day, I bet you forget their Levi's and you pocket a $100. Win win.

I guess you don't understand Rock. Do rock stars wear Levi's? No.

Are you a fvcking rock star or something?

does electronica DJ count?

Ummm...NO. Oh, right. You did say you were Russian. So it's OK I guess b/c you're totally limp.

Electronica? WTF?? Male Euro sluts FTW

better than that Emo crap you listen to.

Just wanted to stop in, tell everyone that I'm 6'3" 255 all muscle, wear amazingly expensive and stylish jeans, and also that I'm absolutely gorgeous and successful, and rich. Oh, and my e-peen is large beyond comprehension. I mean, that is what this thread is about, right?

I happen to spend a lot of money on jeans too because I like a certain fit/style, but who cares if other people spend less on differing styles .. Give it a damned rest.
