Who The Heck Is Pine Technology?

I had a Pine Winmodem at one time. It wasn't great, surfed well, but gaming was next to impossible. Pine is a small company that makes nothing that stands out, mostly modems, but I believe they made some Trident and S3 based vidcards. If you do a search for Pine Group or Pine Technologies(one of those is right, I think) you can probably find the companies webpage. I wouldn't buy a burner from them, unless it was a rebadged Yamaha or something.

I have used some of their CD-ROM's for budget systems and never had a problem. I'm not sure I'd spring for a CD-RW from them though.

Pine Tech. used to make upgrade CPUs like what you see from POWERLEAP.

They also used to make some motherboards I, but I am not sure if those used to rebadged or not. I also have a rebadged DVD drive with the pine name on it.
