FTW!

Just an FYI babysitters are not always available and people with kids like to work out too. Are they supposed to leave the kids at home sleeping while they go to the gym?

This is a college town, there are ten thousand fricking students starving for money...

that reply just piss me off. kids don't belong there because its Fcking DANGEROUS. for both the weight lifters and for the damn kids. some parents are idiots.

If some parents were idiots I'd feel a lot better about our society. Unfortunately, most parents are idiots, the vast majority of them :(

lots of gyms have rules that you gotta be a certain age to enter the weight rooms... see if yours has those restrictions

Good point - and if not, mention to management/the owner that kids could get hurt in there... hint at what that might mean legally if they're thickskulled, and see how fast they implement a no kids rule ;)

Talking to the parents is usesless, been there done that. I'm usually a passive person, and I know what it's like to be the management.

if i ever see a kid in the gym running around me when i am lifting weight i am going to smack him... and gyms should make it legal to do that.
