My school has a gym that has a public section where people not enrolled at the school can sign up for. But I noticed this lady brings her two kids and they're running around the weight deck while me and the guys are trying to do squats. What if I drop one of these things on them?

Parents suck.

Good night.

Well...my parents could have taken me to the gym when I was young and I would have sat quietly. Because if not there would be hell to pay. So...baybysitter not necessary....discipline is.

Is it a common occurance or was this the first time you saw her kids there? It's very possible that, seeing many many gyms have places for kid care, she assumed that yours would as well. Relax and breathe.

She probably gave birth at the gym and wanted the children to see their birthplace and reconnect with their past and heritage. It's a pretty common thing for gyms.

they don't allow kids in the weight area when gyms have a care center.

parents dont suck, your just trolling. if you have kids, your not going to hire a babysitter 3/4 days a week for two hours a time so you can pay 30 bucks. its not that big a deal. you must be about 15.

I agree with the babysitter comment but I think it is a big deal when you have kids running around heavy equipment... and you're the one operating it... you have to be extra careful and it's simply a nuisance. They should not be allowed inside the weights area... if they are really there to be watched, what would mommy do at that point ? Scream at them from halfway across the room ?

I'm 19. Also, if you're a stay at home mom that can afford to go to a gym, then you can afford to hire a babysitter. Which I feel is not completly necessary, the point of my rant is she could've teached her kids some discipline as someone mention earlier.

Also the kids wandered over to the students section, the lady saw them but didn't say anything.

Don't you know...when other people have kids, it becomes everyone else's problem. Its the American way.

FTW!

Just an FYI babysitters are not always available and people with kids like to work out too. Are they supposed to leave the kids at home sleeping while they go to the gym? That said the parents should keep their kids in line while they are there. Did you ever think of talking to the kids? They might be interested and actually learn something.
