Who still plays Diablo II on Battle net? I got a Q...

I just got myself a DII and I want to try it out on bnet. But is bnet still plagued with hacks and hacked items? I remember it left a bitter taste in my mouth when I played Diablo I years ago...

With the release of 1.09b patch, are things better? Are hacks non-existant? (i have no idea)

1.09b came out a while ago... and hacks were out the next day. Starcraft is hack-heaven, as blizzard doesn't really pay any more attention to it. They're focused on making Warcraft 15 and Diablo 20, when Starcraft II was supposed to be out like 5 years ago. As for the rest, I hear they've been cracking down and banning accounts that hack.

It's much worse now with the white ring, gloves and the ith items. The trade hack is still working but it takes two people to do it. The map hacks are so advanced now you are able to see what other players are wearing anywhere in the game. Bot use is getting more popular with the cow bot and the rush bot.

Diablo Classic is so far pretty decent
there are people that use autoaim or scroll during duels~>.

but that's about it~

1.10 is supposed to be coming out very soon (but you know how that goes...)
And they have said that ALL the hacked crap will be deleted.
They're also overhauling ALL the skills and most the items, as well as adding over 100 new uniques (one for each elite item)
There's also going to be a "ladder character" option, where you can make a new char in new economy without all the sojs and crap.

Almost as good as the expansion that we had to pay for, if it ever comes out.
